About The Position

Quanex is looking for a Box Truck Driver-1st Shift to join our team located in Greenville, Pennsylvania . In this role you are responsible for transporting material between Plant Locations, Middlefield, OH, Orwell, OH and Greenville, PA. We Offer You! Monday -Thursday, 5:00am-3:30pm with overtime as needed Experience in manufacturing is recommended but not required Dynamic Culture &People – Just to name a few! What Success Looks Like: Receives direction from the supervisor and notifies the supervisor when more work is needed. Maintains the work area, machinery, and tools in neat, clean, and orderly fashion. Follows all safety procedures, rules, and guidelines, and notifies the supervisor of any existing or potential safety issues. Ability to adjust to changing demands to meet production goals. Strong attention to detail and record of driving safely. Ensures loads are protected when needed, ie., tarps. Conducts pre-flight inspections and post flight inspections of the box truck daily. Locates delivery points and confers with customers as to where deliveries are to be made. Assists in unloading as needed. Personable demeanor with a focus on providing excellent customer service both internal and external. Your Credentials: High School education or equivalent. 18 months related experience preferred. Requirements

  • High School education or equivalent.
  • Class A Driver's License
  • Clean MVR

  • 18 months related experience preferred.
