About The Position

Drivers will be responsible for operating vehicles safely, transporting goods using a straight truck, performing duties like route planning, loading and unloading cargo (often with pallet jacks or forklifts), delivering goods to destinations, maintaining delivery records, and performing daily vehicle inspections.  and strong customer service and time management skills. Drivers will also assist in warehousing functions, and other task as may be assigned. SBM Life Science is dedicated to reconnecting people with nature through our products and solutions. Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • 2 years Inventory experience; or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
  • Must be able to obtain Certificate, licenses, and registrations in standing and riding, material handling equipment required.
  • Must be able to pass a medical examination and obtain a DOT Medical Certificate in accordance with FMCSA standards and rules.
  • Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role.
  • Strong navigation and route-planning skills.
  • Ability to operate commercial vehicles and warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving heavy loads.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate vehicles to transport goods to designated location.
  • Load and unload products, ensuring proper handling and secure placement.
  • Follow established delivery routes while adhering to traffic regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and delivery confirmations.
  • Provide professional customer service during deliveries.
  • Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance or repair needs.
  • Assist with warehouse tasks such as inventory management and organization when required.
