About The Position
Davidson Auto Group is proud to announce its new Ford Pro Elite Commercial Service Center! Becoming the 1st Ford Pro Elite Commercial Service Center located in New York State and 1 of 120 in the United States means that we have immediate openings! We're looking for Truck/Diesel/Heavy Duty Technicians to work on all shapes and sizes of vehicles in our newly renovated, state of the art facility! Pay Ranges: $20 - $32 Hourly $32 - $40 Flat Rate Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday Up to a $5,000 Sign-On bonus based on experience!
Requirements
- Previous experience in the automotive field.
- Valid Driver’s License is required.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in diesel, heavy trucks, or heavy equipment.
- Previous experience in transmissions and engines.
- Valid New York State Inspectors License.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair vehicles to specifications – brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
- Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay up to date with rapidly changing automotive technology.
- Keep advisors aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur.
- Other duties may be assigned as needed.
