This role is ideal for a craftsman who takes pride in precision work, values professionalism, and enjoys working directly with homeowners. As a member of the Goodsmith team, you will perform detailed finish carpentry and residential repair work while delivering outstanding customer service. The role offers consistent hours, weekly pay, a company vehicle, and long-term stability with a respected home repair provider.

Requirements

5+ years of finish carpentry experience.
3+ years of direct customer service experience.
3+ years of experience working in high-end residential construction or home services.
Ability to complete jobs from start to finish independently.
Exceptional attention to detail, including site preparation, execution, and cleanup.
Willingness to complete an FBI background check and drug screening.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.

Responsibilities

Perform high-end residential finish carpentry and light handyman work
Complete trim installation, detailed finishing work, and repairs in custom homes.
Arrive prepared, in uniform, and on time each day.
Document job progress and notes using the Goodsmith mobile app
Communicate clearly with homeowners and internal team members throughout each job.
Maintain a clean, organized workspace and company vehicle , especially while working in customers’ homes.
Deliver exceptional customer service on every project.
Follow all Goodsmith policies and procedures outlined in the company handbook.
