About The Position

We are seeking a skilled an experienced Trim/Electrical Technician to join our team in Weatherford, TX, and we are offering top pay. The ideal candidate will diagnose and repair vehicle electrical systems and interior/exterior trim, requiring expertise in electronics, wiring, and diagnostics to fix issues like faulty components, malfunctioning power systems, and damaged trim, while ensuring proper operation according to factory standards. Key duties include testing, troubleshooting, component replacement, documenting repairs, and ensuring customer satisfaction through quality workmanship.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, though an apprenticeship or vocational training is a common pathway
• work experience in a garage or dealership setting is beneficial
• safety consciousness
• strong attention to detail and good organizational skills
• Ability to diagnose malfunctions and failures in complex systems
• Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems
• ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical systems, including ignition, fuel, and emissions control systems
• Identify and replace defective wiring and electrical components like starters, alternators, and circuit boards.
• Repair and replace interior and exterior trim, such as door panels, dashboard components, and other body parts.
• Test and repair power systems, steering systems, and other assemblies.
• Perform road test to verify the quality and functionality of repairs.
