Thanks for your commitment to Tyson Foods. Job Description: Responsible for learning how to maintain sharp tools to perform their job task correctly. Responsible for making precision cuts to carcass and separate meat from bone to achieve desired carcass yield. Responsible for operating a powered tool to perform job task. Average training time may require 2-3 months. Must be willing and able to: Must also adhere to good safety practices, food safety policies, and company policies. Responsible for setting up area with all needed equipment. Monitor production area for trash and food debris on floor. Perform various other tasks as assigned by Lead person, Supervisor or Superintendent. May occasionally be required to lift/carry up to 50lbs. Must be willing and able to complete work cycles in less than 20 seconds. Must be willing and able to work on and around machinery and chemicals. Must clean up area at end of production shift, including but not limited to sweeping, picking up debris from the floor, and spraying work areas. Must be willing and able to perform the following task for periods up to 12 hours on concrete floor, some of which may include but is not limited to standing, stooping, walking, climbing, and lifting. Must be willing and able to work in temperatures less than or equal to 35 degrees Fahrenheit temperature for minimum of 8 hours. Must be willing and able to work in a wet environment. Must be willing and able to complete cycles in less than 10 seconds. Requirements

  • Must not have any written warnings in the last 6 months or suspensions on record in last 12 months.
  • Must be under 4 points to be considered for position
  • Team members interested in transferring into this position from another Tyson facility should express interest through their local HR Partner
