About The Position

A well established California Litigation Law Firm with several offices across the State is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to work with our Trial and Litigation Practice Group. This Practice Group supports very large and complex litigation cases. This position is “on-site” in our Downtown Los Angeles office.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal in California
• Have a Bachelor’s Degree
• Be a Paralegal and able to bill your hours
• Knowledge of the Local Rules of Court and Civil Procedure
• Possess strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong legal research database skills in either Westlaw or Lexis
• Have experience cite checking
• Able to handle eDiscovery processes and platforms
• Proficient in Office 365 - including Excel, time and billing software, and Adobe

Responsibilities

• Draft, review and revise documents including correspondence and pleadings
• Manage document productions
• Heavy discovery propound and respond
• Identify, gather and prepare Exhibit Binders
• Cite-checking briefs
• Document Review
• Assist in deposition and hearing preparation
