About The Position

Mass General Brigham is a not-for-profit organization that supports patient care, research, teaching, and community service, striving to provide exceptional care. The Mass General Brigham Medical Group delivers high quality, low cost, innovative community-based ambulatory care, bringing healthcare closer to patients. Wentworth Health Partners (WHP), an affiliate of Wentworth-Douglass Hospital and member of Mass General Brigham Medical Group, offers Endocrinology and Diabetes Care at its state-of-the-art facility in Dover, NH. This practice provides care for patients with endocrine conditions, including diabetes, thyroid disorders, and other hormonal disorders, with a focus on specialized diagnostics, treatment, and advanced patient education programs. The organization is seeking an experienced per-diem Registered Nurse to join the Endocrinology team, picking up shifts during the practice's operating hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm. This per-diem RN will help fill staffing gaps caused by call-outs, vacations, leaves, and vacancies. Patient care in this role is predominantly delivered over the phone, with limited face-to-face interaction. Nurses will independently assess patient symptoms, medication questions, and chronic disease concerns related to endocrinology using established triage protocols. While efforts are made to keep employees in their assigned practices, this role may require floating to other departments within the WHP system for cross-coverage during staffing shortages or other extenuating circumstances.
