About The Position

Essential Functions Provide tree and shrub services to residential properties on an assigned route, working independently. Apply insecticides, fungicides, and herbicides using hand-held and powered equipment. Inspect and evaluate properties to identify pests, diseases, and plant health issues, and recommend corrective measures. Interact with clients to address concerns and promote additional services when appropriate. Document services accurately using handheld technology. Load, unload, and maintain equipment; follow all safety protocols. Comply with company policies and all local, state, and federal regulations. Operate company vehicles safely and maintain a valid driver’s license. Participate in training, assist other departments as needed, and maintain reliable attendance, including occasional overtime or weekend work. Wage Range: $20.00-$22.00 per hour. Up to $27/hour for experienced technicians. Starting wage is determined based on relevant experience. This is a hourly, non-exempt position.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong customer focus, time management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze situations and independently determine appropriate solutions.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Maintain reliable attendance, including occasional overtime or weekend work.
  • Operate company vehicles safely and maintain a valid driver’s license.
  • Comply with company policies and all local, state, and federal regulations.
