The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District provides comprehensive wastewater and storm water management services to residents and businesses in both St. Louis City and County. Responsibilities
- Support 24/7 operations.
- Oversee the operation and routine maintenance of process and support areas.
- Monitor, initiate, and direct adjustments to plant processes and equipment both manually and through process control systems including remote facilities.
- Adjust plant processes as indicated by laboratory tests.
- Take samples of wastewater and other process flows.
- Perform basic wastewater laboratory analysis.
- Clean plant process areas and equipment.
- Maintain records and prepare reports.
- Direct Treatment Plant Operator Trainees and Treatment Plant Operators to investigate and correct process control problems.
- Assist in training operators.
- Assist plant's trades employees.
- Required to fill-in for Team Leaders at the Treatment Plant.
- Perform related work as required or as delegated by Team Leaders and Supervisor.
