About The Position

Arvin Post Acute is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Treatment Nurse (LVN) to join our clinical team on a part-time basis. The Treatment Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality wound and skin care treatments, monitoring healing progress, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal resident outcomes.

Requirements

  • Active California LVN license in good standing
  • Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) preferred
  • Wound care or treatment nurse experience strongly preferred
  • Strong documentation, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and assist with resident care as needed
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks and use clinical and office equipment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) preferred
  • Wound care or treatment nurse experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide ordered wound care and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
  • Perform skin assessments and monitor wounds for signs of healing or complications
  • Accurately document treatments, observations, and resident responses in the electronic medical record
  • Make written and oral reports and recommendations to the attending physician, Medical Director, and Director of Nursing regarding resident status and care
  • Work with the Interdisciplinary Care Plan Team to develop and update individualized care plans
  • Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory standards
  • Maintain confidentiality of resident information, including Protected Health Information (PHI)
  • Promptly report any suspected or known violations of resident rights or facility policies
