About The Position

Arvin Post Acute is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Treatment Nurse (LVN) to join our clinical team on a part-time basis. The Treatment Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality wound and skin care treatments, monitoring healing progress, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal resident outcomes.

Requirements

Active California LVN license in good standing
Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) preferred
Wound care or treatment nurse experience strongly preferred
Strong documentation, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and assist with resident care as needed
Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
Ability to perform repetitive tasks and use clinical and office equipment

Nice To Haves

Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) preferred
Wound care or treatment nurse experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

Provide ordered wound care and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
Perform skin assessments and monitor wounds for signs of healing or complications
Accurately document treatments, observations, and resident responses in the electronic medical record
Make written and oral reports and recommendations to the attending physician, Medical Director, and Director of Nursing regarding resident status and care
Work with the Interdisciplinary Care Plan Team to develop and update individualized care plans
Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory standards
Maintain confidentiality of resident information, including Protected Health Information (PHI)
Promptly report any suspected or known violations of resident rights or facility policies
