Responsibilities
- Presenting treatment plans
- Preparing informed consent forms
- Preparing and sending referrals for tests/imaging/or other physician’s care
- Coordinating to ensure obtaining of Prior Authorizations
- Obtaining results from lab orders/ medical clearance/ or imaging
- Helping to schedule Dr Haigler’s patients
- Preparing letters using Dr Haigler’s template for referring Doctors
- Taking clinical calls for Dr Haigler- finding patient concerns and relaying information back to them from Dr Haigler
- Setting up room for evaluation
- Seating patients
- Finding chief complaint
- If returning patient, how symptoms have changed, has patient followed recommendations
- Obtaining vitals and recording them
- Taking necessary radiographs
- Entering Vitals BP, pulse, Height, weight, medications, medical alerts, and allergies into the chart
- Cleaning room after patient is dismissed
