General Summary: As a Systems and Solutions Intern you will gain valuable real-world experience through projects with exposure through the senior leadership level. The Systems and Solutions Intern will support the Treasury department by evaluating, documenting, and testing the systems it uses, with the goal of helping to design, recommend and re-engineer business processes. They will also assist with automation and process improvement projects.

Requirements

  • Knowledge at a level normally acquired through completion of the first three years of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university – preferably in a relevant field of study (i.e. Business Analytics, Data Science, Finance, Economics, Math, or Statistics). Completion of graduate-level coursework a plus.
  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Proficient Tableau and/or Power BI skills, portfolio or project examples preferred.
  • High degree of organizational skills, attention to detail, initiative, and independence to produce effective and timely work.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills including interpersonal skills necessary to interact effectively with internal contacts.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience utilizing R, SQL, Python and/or Snowflake a plus.
  • Preferred SharePoint and Dev Ops exposure.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in the evaluation, development, implementation, and maintenance of new or enhanced processes, systems, and reports.
  • Works with staff to understand the business and its associated operational and reporting-related challenges. Identifies and analyzes strengths and weaknesses of operational processes and visuals to determine opportunities for enhancement.
  • Researches, develops, and implements analyses and projects that support and improve Treasury processes.
  • Prepares a presentation for Executive leadership as a cap stone.
  • Performs other routine office duties and special projects as assigned by management.
