About The Position

The Treasury Supervisor oversees daily cash management activities and provides leadership and control over the secure, efficient, and compliant movement of funds across the organization. This role is critical to maintaining liquidity, supporting strategic investment activity, and ensuring ICW Group meets its financial obligations. Partnering closely with Accounting, Investments, AR, AP, Claims, and HR, the Treasury team safeguards and optimizes the Company’s cash resources in support of key financial and operational objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of related experience in a treasury function required.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Broad, in-depth understanding of Accounting principles, concepts, operations, and practices of the business unit.
  • Highly developed written oral and presentation skills, and ability to effectively interact with management, employees, regulators, and external auditors.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft suite applications.

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation preferred.
  • Workday Treasury Management experience highly desirable.
  • Familiarity of insurance industry desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Cash and Liquidity Management Oversee daily cash positioning and forecasting to ensure adequate liquidity for operational and investment needs while optimizing cash yield.
  • Review and approve wire transfers, ACH payments, and other disbursements to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Monitor bank balances and oversee the reconciliation of cash activity.
  • Banking Relationship Management Maintain and strengthen banking relationships, including account openings/closings, authorized signatory updates, KYC requests, and ongoing service reviews.
  • Ensure account structures are optimized to support fast, secure and customer-friendly transactions in an evolving treasury landscape.
  • Monitor bank fees, services, and contracts to ensure competitive pricing and alignment with company needs.
  • Oversee and Direct Treasury Department Processes Review and approve cash transactions, ensuring proper controls and adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee and review treasury reporting, including daily cash and bank position reports, bank fee reviews, and month‑end reconciliations in partnership with Accounting.
  • Lead or participate in treasury system and payment automation initiatives to improve security and efficiency of cash flows.
  • Support internal and external audits, regulatory and bank inquiries, and rating agency information requests related to cash, liquidity, and banking arrangements.
  • Directly supervises two or more employees within the Treasury team and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable laws. These responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; conducting performance and salary reviews; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems; coaching, mentoring, and developing team members to further their skills and knowledge; creating and monitoring development plans; setting performance expectations/goals; forecasting staffing needs and planning for peak times and absences; enforcing department policies and procedures.
