About The Position

River Run is a shared services organization that supports banking affiliates, Newburyport Bank, Pentucket Bank and Rollstone Bank & Trust. Job Summary The Treasury Services Director will lead the sales and operational performance of the Treasury Management and Government Banking teams. The primary objective is to drive revenue growth and deposit acquisition by coaching the team to acquire new business and deepen existing client relationships. By fostering high-level collaboration with Lending and other customer facing divisions, the bank(s) will meet their growth goals and maintain industry-leading customer retention through exceptional service standards. The Director is responsible for the strategic direction of the division including reviewing the technology, products, and pricing structure to ensure we are offering well priced, competitive solutions.

Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership: Oversee the Treasury Management Sales and Operations departments, including specialized Government Banking sectors.
Business Development: Actively guide the team in proactive prospecting and consultative selling of treasury products to expand the bank's commercial portfolio.
Performance Coaching: Mentor and develop team members through continuous training on product analysis, sales techniques, and operational excellence.
Cross-Divisional Collaboration: Build strong internal partnerships, particularly with the Lending teams, to integrate treasury solutions into broader business banking strategies.
Goal Achievement: Drive the attainment of predetermined deposit targets and fee-based income goals while ensuring a superior client experience.
Lead, coach, and develop the Treasury Services team to drive deposit growth, portfolio expansion, and employee development.
Drive business development by identifying, selling, and managing treasury management and business deposit solutions for existing and prospective commercial clients.
Build and maintain strong client relationships by delivering exceptional service, conducting client meetings, and identifying customized solutions and cross-sell opportunities.
Partner with relationship managers and business development teams to achieve deposit, revenue, and customer retention goals.
Oversee daily Treasury Services operations, including product delivery, customer onboarding, and performance tracking.
Develop, enhance, and manage treasury management products and services, including market research, vendor evaluation, and staff training.
Respond to RFPs by assessing client needs, recommending solutions, and negotiating pricing to optimize profitability.
Ensure compliance with all bank policies, audit requirements, and state and federal regulations, including BSA/AML standards.
Support technology initiatives by coordinating software updates and system enhancements related to treasury services.
