About The Position

The Treasury Department is responsible for the Firm’s overall cash management, allocation of investment opportunities and maintenance of third-party lines of credit. Primary functions within Treasury include short and long-term cash forecasting, pre-trade compliance, asset allocations, cash positioning and debt compliance. The Treasury Department collaborates closely with many internal and external partners to ensure the Firm’s financing goals are met. These partners include senior management, Structured Products, Middle Market Lending and Broadly Syndicated Loan Origination Teams, Accounting, Operations, Tax and Investor Relations as well as banking partners, trustees, accounting firms, administrators and rating agencies.

Requirements

Junior attending local university interested in financial services
Ability to work full-time from June to mid-August
Working knowledge of Excel
Ability to take initiative and work independently, while demonstrating strong teamwork
Must be able to work in a fast -paced environment, manage time and priorities under pressure and meet deadlines
Strong communication skills, analytical and detail-oriented
Abide by our work-in-office policies then in effect

Responsibilities

Assist in reconciliation and preparation of monthly / quarterly services reports with Trustees of the various Golub Capital managed funds
Work with third party accounting firms during audits of managed funds in providing necessary data and reconciling exceptions
Monitor and process loan ratings packages for ratings agencies and maintain ratings database
Update liability activity in Wall Street Office (loan system)
Process trade activity in Everest (trade order management system)
