About The Position

The Client Connectivity Solutions Consultant at U.S. Bank is responsible for optimizing the client's experience when connecting their applications to U.S. Bank, whether via Application Programming Interface (API) or file-based transmission. This role facilitates the selection of preferred connectivity methods, guides clients to ensure market readiness, and coordinates activities for an optimal end-to-end journey. The consultant manages technical inquiries during API integration, collaborates across business and technical teams, and contributes to the success of API operations services. Key tasks include defining workflows, creating training materials, driving system enhancements for efficiency, assisting with customer access to API products, notifying clients of events affecting API services, and providing technical assistance in customer-facing environments. The role also involves tracking customer requests to completion, providing excellent service, and onboarding new customer implementations of Treasury Management Core Products and other financial products to ensure a smooth client connectivity experience. The goal is to build positive customer relationships by delivering optimal service and product functionality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Three to five years of experience in project management activities

Nice To Haves

  • Hands on Client Onboarding Experience with Treasury Core Products such as ACH/BAI/Positive Pay, etc
  • Client Facing/Coordination is a must
  • Knowledge on SFTP and MFS Configurations
  • Knowledge of File formats for different Treasury Core Products and SSH/PGP keys

Responsibilities

  • Optimizing our client’s experience as they are connecting their applications to U.S. Bank.
  • Assisting clients in selecting their preferred connectivity method to achieve the desired results and serving as a guide along the way to ensure market readiness.
  • Coordinating and driving activities to ensure an optimal experience from defining the customer’s end-to-end journey to managing technical inquiries during their integration with U.S. Bank APIs.
  • Collaborating across business and technical teams to contribute to the success of our API operations services.
  • Defining the workflows undertaken during execution.
  • Creating the training materials.
  • Driving system enhancements to improve operating efficiency.
  • Assisting in setting up customer access to our API products.
  • Notifying of events that may affect their API services.
  • Providing technical assistance in our customer-facing environments.
  • Tracking and monitoring the customer requests through completion, while providing excellent service and support.
  • Orchestrating in-depth testing.
  • Onboarding new customer implementations of Treasury Management Core Products and other financial products to provide a smooth, seamless onboarding client connectivity experience with Treasury Management products.
  • Building up positive customer relationship by ensuring an optimal level of service delivery and product functionality exceeding customers’ expectation.
