About The Position

The Treasury Services EFT Staff Accountant position reviews, analyzes, processes, and troubleshoots various accounting and financial processes related to Electronic Funds Transfers (EFT) for Treasury Services and our bank accounts. This includes registering and processing direct deposit requests, maintaining and ensuring accuracies of the EFT information in Check Writing applications, and troubleshooting issues within the EFT program. The position takes the lead for processing direct deposit transactions between CorVel and bank processing. This includes determining when and how to process and complete duties in accordance with the strict criteria of each of our customer requirements, as well as meeting our internal controls. This position serves as front line support to the Provider Portal assisting Providers with access and inquiry requests. This is a hybrid position.

Requirements

Computer proficiency; skilled with Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel
Comfortable in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment
Strong attention to detail to ensure set ups occur with no issues
Excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills
Bachelor's degree preferred, not required

Responsibilities

Monitors, tracks, analyzes and researches fiscal issues to balance accounts and resolve invoice/payments with customers
Researches, coordinates, and makes recommendations regarding account discrepancies, to resolve issues
Interprets complex accounts and fiscal data related to customer reporting and check runs, including check printing requirements to strict criteria
Ensures checks are printed to strict criteria for signatures, numbering, overnight pulls, etc.
Tracks held payments and continuously pursues the issue holding the payment
Processes all positive pay files to various banking institutions for various accounts
