About The Position

A Pitney Bowes Internship prepares students for the rigors of the working world while providing a professional and engaging learning experience. Each intern manager will provide intentional learning objective goals and assign real-life projects to own and drive during the summer SUPPORT: Each intern will be paired up with a mentor who will provide guidance, support, and insight into The PB Way! PAY: The wage range for this position is $22 to $2 per hour, with the actual pay dependent on your, education level, skills and experience as they relate to the job requirements. JOB OFFERS: The intern program may only last 10-weeks, June 1st - August 7th, but we don’t want the experience to end there. Our top interns are often offered extended internships or future job opportunities at Pitney Bowes This internship is ONSITE in Shelton, CT. Candidates must be able to work in person for the full 10‑week program. Join the Treasury and Investor Relations teams and gain hands‑on experience supporting real financial projects that help strengthen Pitney Bowes’ reporting, liquidity management, and compliance processes. You’ll work closely with finance professionals while building practical skills in corporate finance and analysis.

Requirements

  • Interest in corporate finance, capital markets, or investor relations.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort working in Excel.
  • Ability to review financial documents and identify key themes.
  • Attention to detail, clear communication, and a willingness to learn.

Nice To Haves

  • Students who will be upcoming juniors or seniors during Summer 2026.
  • Coursework in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related fields.
  • Experience with financial analysis through classes or projects.
  • Familiarity with financial statements or SEC filings is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support a peer company disclosure analysis by reviewing 10‑Ks, 10‑Qs, earnings releases, and presentations.
  • Compare peer financial metrics, non‑GAAP disclosures, capital allocation commentary, and liquidity trends.
  • Assist with the debt summary update, including refreshing balances, key terms, maturity timing, and interest rate mix.
  • Reconcile debt information to financial statements and help summarize key observations.
  • Contribute to the authorized signatory compliance review by compiling bank account inventories, reviewing signers, and identifying discrepancies.
  • Help prepare updated files, trackers, and summary materials for internal use.
