About The Position

VFC Lightning Protection is seeking motivated individuals to install state-of-the-art lightning protection systems around the Pacific Northwest. The company is specifically looking for candidates based in the Idaho Falls area who are available to travel out of town and out of state weekly alongside a lead installer. Since 1986, VFC Lightning Protection has been a leader in protecting buildings, infrastructure, and lives from lightning. Requirements

• Willing to travel and be away from home every week.
• 18+ years old.
• High school graduate / GED Equivalent
• Able to pass a medical exam & drug test.
• A licensed driver with a clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Report).
• Physically fit – Can lift up to 80 lbs. and work comfortably on rooftops and ladders.
• Honest, hardworking, and a team player who enjoys working outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Installing lightning protection systems on high roofs and specialized grounding projects.
• Reading blueprints and construction plans to ensure top-tier installations.
• Handling and installing lightning protection cables.
• Ensuring all work complies with onsite safety regulations.
• Working as part of a team to complete projects efficiently.
• Tackling other duties as assigned.
