Traveling Lighting Controls Technician (Low Voltage)

Requirements
- Proven ability to work safely and professionally on active construction jobsites
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a crew
- Attention to detail and pride in producing clean, accurate work
- Ability to follow written plans, verbal instructions, and jobsite direction
- Comfortable performing physical, hands-on work for full workdays
- Willingness and ability to travel nationwide for project work
- Experience in the electrical or low-voltage field
Nice To Haves
- Background in low-voltage lighting systems, architectural lighting, or lighting controls
- Experience with dimming systems, DMX, or lighting control hardware is a strong plus
- Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and basic electrical testing equipment
- Construction or installation experience in commercial environments
Responsibilities
- Read and understand blueprints, shop drawings, plans, and written specifications to assemble and install project components
- Wire, assemble, and install aluminum décor structures, light fixtures, and related steel and aluminum elements
- Install, terminate, and troubleshoot low-voltage wiring for lighting systems, dimming, and controls
- Assist with unloading, staging, assembly, and on-site installation of décor structures and lighting elements
- Collaborate closely with the installation team and supervisors to complete work efficiently, safely, and to specification
- Follow all jobsite safety protocols, health codes, and company standards at all times
