BW Papersystems is looking for a skilled Traveling Industrial Controls Electrician who will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in industrial settings as well as for ensuring that all electrical work is done in compliance. The ideal candidate will be expected to troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems, as well as read and interpret blueprints and schematics. Regardless of your home location, this position involves visiting our customer sites within USA, Canada, and Mexico; to be drive the electrical installations of BW Papersystems manufactured equipment. We are searching for applicants with excellent people skills and an ambition to travel. Intermittently would conduct onsite electrical, mechanical, and electronic troubleshooting to determine cause for equipment malfunction and establish the necessary repairs or replacements utilizing visual inspection, test procedures and appropriate test equipment. Coordinates with and provides technical support to internal project management, engineering, and other technicians for the purpose of completing projects/work orders efficiently. Persistent, self-motivated, and self-assured style. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with team members, customers, and vendors of all levels. Understands the NEC and NFPA code and apply these standards to the work being performed. Utilize strong problem-solving skills with a focus on risk elimination. Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively. Ability to work in a team environment. Maintain professional appearance and conduct. Great Customer Service Skills. Willingness to keep up with industry developments and advancements Substantial training will be provided upon starting.
