Role specifics and benefits: - Key responsibilities: perform decontamination and cleaning of reusable instruments, inspect for wear or damage, assemble and package instrument trays to standard configurations, operate sterilization equipment (steam, ethylene oxide, and other approved methods), maintain accurate tracking in the sterile processing information system, monitor inventory levels, and ensure compliance with AAMI/CPG guidelines, infection prevention protocols, and OR readiness.
