About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Travel Specialist to lead and manage corporate travel operations across North America. This role focuses on coordinating complex domestic and international travel within the region, ensuring compliance with company policies, and delivering exceptional service. Candidates must have prior experience working with travel agencies and driving process improvements in travel management. HR administrative tasks will be minimal; the emphasis is on strategic travel coordination and leadership. Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate travel coordination, including direct work with travel agencies.
  • Proven ability to lead travel operations and implement process improvements.
  • Expertise in expense management systems (e.g., Concur, SAP, Workday).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience managing regional or global travel programs.
  • Familiarity with travel compliance requirements and vendor management.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all aspects of corporate travel coordination for North America, including complex itineraries and international arrangements.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with travel agencies and vendors to negotiate rates, resolve issues, and ensure high-quality service.
  • Develop and implement best practices for travel booking to optimize cost and compliance.
  • Process and track employee expense reports and travel reimbursements using internal systems (e.g., Concur).
  • Analyze travel data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and process improvements.
  • Provide leadership and training to team members or stakeholders involved in travel processes.
