Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a travel assignment in Vero Beach, Florida. This role supports a Cleveland Clinic Health System hospital, providing respiratory care across critical care and acute patient populations in a structured, high-compliance environment. POSITION OVERVIEW This assignment is ideal for RRTs with strong ICU and critical care experience who are confident managing advanced respiratory therapies and working within strict clinical and compliance standards. ASSIGNMENT DETAILS • 12-week contract (8 weeks may be considered) • Night shift 3x12s (19:00–07:30) • 1 position available COMPENSATION Because travel rates change frequently based on market demand and facility needs, our recruiters provide the most current and competitive pay packages during your initial conversation. Each compensation package is customized and may include taxable hourly wages along with tax-free stipends when applicable. CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES • Provide respiratory care across ICU and acute care populations • Manage ventilators and advanced respiratory support modalities • Administer oxygen therapy, nebulizers, and respiratory treatments • Perform airway management and emergency respiratory interventions • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to facility protocols WORK ENVIRONMENT • Cleveland Clinic Health System facility • Acute care hospital setting • Critical care and respiratory therapy department • Structured and compliance-driven environment Heartline Staffing is a Strategic Talent Partner with Purple Cow Recruiting. Requirements
- Minimum 2 years RRT experience REQUIRED
- NBRC certification REQUIRED (in hand at submission)
- BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS REQUIRED (AHA – all must be in hand)
- Florida RRT or CRT license REQUIRED (must be in hand)
- Strong ICU and critical care experience REQUIRED
- No certifications pending – HARD STOP
