Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking an experienced MICU Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in Cleveland, Ohio. This role supports a Medical ICU at a nationally recognized health system, providing high-acuity care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced environment. POSITION OVERVIEW This assignment is ideal for experienced ICU nurses with a strong critical care background who are confident managing complex patients and working across multiple ICU environments as needed. ASSIGNMENT DETAILS • 13-week contract • Night shift 3x12s (19:00–07:30) • Float required across ICU units and ED holds • High-acuity critical care environment :contentReference[oaicite:0] • 1 position available COMPENSATION Because travel rates change frequently based on market demand and facility needs, our recruiters provide the most current and competitive pay packages during your initial conversation. CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES • Provide care for critically ill patients in a Medical ICU setting • Manage ventilators, drips, and advanced life support interventions • Perform continuous patient monitoring and rapid clinical assessments • Administer critical medications and titrate drips as needed • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary ICU teams • Respond to rapid changes in patient condition and emergencies • Float to other ICU units and ED holds as required • Document patient care in EMR system WORK ENVIRONMENT • Medical ICU within Cleveland Clinic health system • High-acuity critical care unit • Collaborative interdisciplinary support • Acute care hospital setting Heartline Staffing is a Strategic Talent Partner with Purple Cow Recruiting. Requirements
- Minimum 18 months recent ICU/Critical Care experience REQUIRED (HARD STOP)
- MUST have 18 months PERMANENT ICU experience prior to travel (HARD STOP)
- Active Ohio RN license or Compact license REQUIRED (in hand at submission)
- BLS and ACLS REQUIRED
- NIHSS preferred
- First-time travelers accepted with strong ICU background
