Travel RN - IMCU/PCU | Day & Night Shifts Available - Competitive Pay
About The Position
We are seeking an experienced IMCU/PCU Travel RN for a high-acuity intermediate care unit offering both day (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM) and night (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM) shifts . Flexibility is required, as block scheduling is not guaranteed, and floating may be required based on unit needs. This 64-bed unit (including 15 designated neuro beds) cares for adult patients with a wide range of conditions including neuro, cardiac, trauma, and respiratory cases such as COPD, DKA, sepsis, MI, and post-operative stepdown patients. Nurses will work with specialized equipment including temporary pacers, chest tubes, arterial lines, BiPAP, and Neptune Vapo systems. The unit also manages chronic ventilator patients, with respiratory therapy support available
Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of IMCU/PCU experience
- Travel experience REQUIRED
- Active New York RN License (verified via NURSYS, including all RN licenses)
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (AHA) certifications REQUIRED
- Experience with EPIC EMR
- Skills checklist matching specialty required
- Valid driver’s license with matching demographics
- RTO must be included at time of submission
- Must be comfortable with floating
