About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Travel RN for a Cardiothoracic ICU (CTICU) assignment working 12-hour night shifts. This is a high-acuity unit specializing in post-cardiac surgery care, including management of fresh open-heart patients. The CTICU has 6 beds and treats complex cases such as cardiovascular surgery recovery, cardiogenic shock, and abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA). Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, specialized ICU environment and managing critically ill cardiac patients.
Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of ICU experience
- Cardiothoracic ICU experience required
- Fresh heart (post-open heart) experience REQUIRED
- Travel experience REQUIRED
- Experience with EPIC EMR
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications REQUIRED
