About The Position

The Registered Nurse develops, implements, evaluates, and revises a plan of care for assigned patients and families, aligning with the mission and values of Vibra Travels. This role involves providing direct patient care, delegating tasks, and supervising all nursing care in accordance with the applicable Nurse Practice Act. Key aspects of the Registered Nurse role include demonstrating clinical competence, managing patient care, improving quality of care, establishing professional relationships, utilizing professional skills, fulfilling hospital responsibilities, and developing clinical expertise within their specialty.

Requirements

  • Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment required.
  • Current BLS certification from a Vibra Travels-approved vendor required.
  • Current, valid, and active driver’s license required.
  • Ability to travel using publicly available air and ground transportation.
  • Ability to project a professional image.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
  • Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
  • Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
  • Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
  • Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
  • Additional certifications may be required by Vibra Travels (ex ACLS, PALS, NRP).
  • Compliance with federal and state requirements for vaccinations, vaccination offerings, and disease screening, which may vary by state and location.

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year acute care experience is strongly preferred.
