About The Position
Sentara Heart Hospital in Norfolk, Virginia is hiring a Travel Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Surgical Stepdown Unit (4HH)! Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiac Surgical Stepdown Unit (4HH) Sentara Heart Hospital - Norfolk, VA $70.00/hr pay rate Temporary Full Time 14-week assignment DAY Shift No benefits Department Overview: • This unit provides high acuity cardiac care for pre and post cardiac surgery patients to include bypass surgery, cardiac valve repairs/replacements, thoracic surgery/lung diagnostics, and other cardiac based procedures and treatments. • Dedicated to high quality care, patient outcomes, safety and teamwork is a standard of the staff • Nurses handle 4 patients on this unit based on acuity level
Requirements
- Associates, Bachelors, Masters, or diploma in the Nursing Field required
- Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- ACLS
- Must have 2 or more years of recent acute care hospital RN experience
