Responsibilities

• Conducting comprehensive postoperative assessments, monitoring vital signs, pain levels, and neurological status; identifying deviations and initiating timely interventions.
• Wound and drain care, dressing changes, infection prevention practices, and meticulous documentation within electronic medical records.
• Managing coordinated pain relief strategies, including pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic approaches, while prioritizing safety and patient comfort.
• Supporting early mobilization, respiratory care, and prevention of postoperative complications; collaborating with surgeons, anesthesia, and physical therapy for optimal recovery plans.
• Executing discharge planning, patient and family education, medication reconciliation, and arrangements for post-acute care or home support.
• Communicating clearly with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless transitions and continuity of care.
