About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Travel Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse to join a busy and well-supported Family Birth Center in Maryville, Tennessee , located in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains. This opportunity is ideal for a travel nurse who excels in a fast-paced environment and is confident managing patients across the full labor and delivery continuum.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years recent Labor & Delivery experience (First-time travelers will not be considered)
• At least 1 year of EPIC experience
• Active Tennessee RN license or Compact (NLC) license
• BLS
• ACLS
• NRP
• AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring
• Candidates must reside at least 100 miles away from client facility to be eligible for travel status within this system

Responsibilities

• Triage assessments and non-stress tests (NSTs)
• Management of labor inductions and Magnesium Sulfate administration
• Assistance with cesarean sections and external versions
• Newborn resuscitation and stabilization
• Circumcisions and post-delivery newborn care
• Collaboration with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe, patient-centered outcomes
