About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse for a hospital-based assignment. This role includes providing care across labor and delivery, postpartum, and nursery units in a dynamic acute care environment.

Requirements

• Current New York State RN license
• BLS certification (must be current or eligible for recertification)
• Minimum 1.5 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience (within the last 2 years)
• Experience circulating C-sections (required)
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills

Nice To Haves

• Scrub for C-sections
• Experience in hospitals of similar or higher acuity
• Scrubbing experience for C-sections
• EPIC EMR experience

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in labor and delivery, postpartum, and nursery units
• Assist with and circulate cesarean section procedures
• Monitor maternal and fetal conditions throughout labor and delivery
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document care accurately
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes
• Maintain adherence to safety, quality, and infection control standards
