Responsibilities

Triage and rapid assessment of high-acuity patients
Initiating and adjusting treatment plans
Administering medications and IV therapies
Performing wound care and procedures within scope
Coordinating with physicians, respiratory, radiology, and support teams to ensure seamless patient flow
Monitoring vital signs
Recognizing deteriorating conditions
Implementing code- and trauma-management protocols
Preparing patients for transport
Providing clear, compassionate education to patients and families
Documentation in the electronic health record will be precise and timely
