Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for critically ill adults in CCU settings, including invasive monitoring, vasoactive support, ventilator management, and rapid response during code events.
• Implement evidence‑based practice, interpret complex telemetry and imaging, adjust therapies, and participate in daily rounds to optimize patient trajectories.
• Lead care coordination with physicians, fellows, and ancillary teams; mentor novice staff and students; and champion safety protocols, infection prevention, and pain management.
• Drive professional growth through exposure to diverse pathophysiology, advanced hemodynamic monitoring, ECMO awareness, and post‑ICU transition planning; seize opportunities for specialty certification preparation and continuing education.
