Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations across vascular, abdominal, obstetric, gynecologic, small parts, and other relevant applications as directed
  • prepare patients, explain procedures, position for optimal imaging, and ensure comfort
  • operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, adjust settings for image quality, and document findings accurately in the EMR
  • adhere to safety and infection control protocols
  • participate in quality assurance, image optimization, and peer-to-peer review
  • collaborate with radiologists, referring clinicians, and nursing teams to deliver timely, accurate reports and patient-centered care
  • maintain a well-organized workflow that supports patient throughput without compromising diagnostic detail
