About The Position

The person who greets and helps customers in our local convenient store is the most important person at our facility. You are the face of our company. We rely on you to provide outstanding service; maintain a clean, customer-friendly environment; stock and merchandise products; and, naturally, operate the register.

Requirements

• High school diploma preferred
• Basic math skills, computer skills, and customer service skills
• Understanding of sound and effective internal control procedures with the ability to devise effective controls through departmental structure and processing of documents.
• Ability to exercise good judgment at all times, including under stressful, high-pressure situations.
• Ability to resolve conflict, team building and motivate team members.
• Documents that establish both Identity and Employment Eligibility.
• Must be able to get liquor license and take the ACE Training Course
• Must pass drug screening

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, efficient and courteous customer service
• Maintain a clean, customer friendly environment in the store
• Ring customer sales on an electronic cash register
• Receive cash from customers and give correct change
• Perform all regular cleaning activities and other tasks that are included on job assignments
• Rotate inventory using F.I.F.O
• Forecast and stock merchandise
• Other duties assigned by management
