About The Position

Sentara Therapy Center - Coliseum in Hampton, VA is hiring a Travel Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to work a 14-week assignment! Travel Physical Therapy Assistant - Outpatient Sentara Therapy Center - Coliseum, Hampton, VA Temporary Full Time & Day Shift $43.00/hr! Temporary Full Time, 14-week assignment Day shift 40 hours/week No benefits Overview Administer physical therapy treatments and procedures under the supervision of a physical therapist. May assist in developing treatment plans, carrying out routine functions, and documenting treatment progress within the scope of treatment plans established by a physical therapist. Performs modalities/therapeutic interventions by accepted standards of care and department policies and procedures. Participates/assists with updates in the formal plan of care to address individual patient needs. Provides effective instruction to the patient and family through standardized educational programs and/or individualized training. Initiate, develop, and maintain collaborative interactions with internal and external team members, patients, and families to improve patient outcomes. Productive and efficient in daily operations. Valid license required in state of practice. Sentara Therapy Center - Coliseum is sensitive to each individuals fitness needs, including the physically limited, the elderly and those in chronic pain. Requirements

Valid license required in state of practice.
ALD - Associate's Level Degree – Physical Therapy Assistant
Physical Therapist Assistant License (PTA) – Virginia
Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA)
