Responsibilities

• implement and adjust physical therapy plans under the supervision of licensed PTs
• administer therapeutic exercises, gait and balance training, ROM and strengthening protocols, and functional mobility activities
• monitor patient response to therapy, document progress, and update treatment plans
• provide patient education on home exercise programs, fall prevention, and safety in daily activities
• assist with modality application, manual therapy techniques, and proper body mechanics during procedures
• participate in care planning with the interdisciplinary team to ensure cohesive, evidence-based care
• uphold clinical documentation standards and regulatory compliance
• champion patient engagement and motivation through clear communication and goal setting
• support scheduling, equipment setup, and clinic flow to maximize efficiency and learning opportunities
