As a Travel Physical Therapist with Origin you’ll play a key role in delivering care across the state of California with an opportunity to travel without the downside of starting over at a new company at the end of a contract. Provide coverage for clinics in need and/or for providers on leave of absence (parental leave) Providing virtual care if all in person clinics are full Synthesizing pertinent information from a patient's referral, medical records, imaging, intake forms and subjective history taking. Diagnosing movement dysfunction via functional movement, posture and gait analysis, internal pelvic floor examinations, objective measurements and listening to patients concerns and goals. Using critical thinking to develop individualized plans of care for patients to include the patient's goals and expected outcomes of the plan. Utilizing evidence-based interventions such as therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, biofeedback and other modalities to achieve patients' goals. Evaluating and documenting patient progress, utilizing outcomes to drive results and modifying the plan of care as needed. Educating patients about what to expect from the recovery process and how to cope with challenges throughout the process Following up with patients to ensure better adherence to plan of care Connecting with providers and local organizations to increase awareness of therapies provided by the clinic and ensure that as many patients as possible that need care are able to receive it.
