About The Position

The role involves assisting a Physical Therapist in providing Physical Therapy services to patients, including treatment, program planning, implementation, documentation, and communication, all under the supervision of a Physical Therapist and per physician orders.

Requirements

• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of employment required.
• Current BLS certification from a Vibra Travels-approved vendor required.
• Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.

Nice To Haves

• One (1) year of experience preferred.
• Previous Hospital experience preferred.
• Ability to project a professional image.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Physical Therapist in the provision of Physical Therapy services to patients, including treatment, program planning and implementation, related documentation, and communication.
• Function under a Physical Therapist and per physician orders.
