Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking an experienced Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer (Echo Tech) for a travel assignment in Pocatello, Idaho. This role supports a busy echocardiography department performing both pediatric and adult cardiac studies, including structural heart and advanced echo procedures. POSITION OVERVIEW This assignment is ideal for Echo Techs with pediatric and structural heart experience who are confident performing advanced cardiac imaging across multiple patient populations in a fast-paced clinical setting. ASSIGNMENT DETAILS • 13-week contract • Day shift 5x8s (07:30–16:00) • Monday–Friday schedule • On-call required as needed • Average 8–10 studies per day • Mix of outpatient, inpatient, and procedural coverage • 1 position available COMPENSATION Because travel rates change frequently based on market demand and facility needs, our recruiters provide the most current and competitive pay packages during your initial conversation. CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES • Perform pediatric and adult echocardiograms (TTE, TEE, stress echo) • Conduct advanced imaging including 3D echo and bubble studies • Assist with structural heart procedures and physician-guided exams • Operate GE ultrasound equipment and PACS systems • Collect and document diagnostic data accurately • Support NICU, pediatric, and adult cardiac patient populations • Maintain workflow efficiency in high-volume imaging department WORK ENVIRONMENT • Acute care hospital setting • Echocardiography department (4 rooms) • Adult and pediatric patient population • Epic charting system • Scrubs provided by facility Heartline Staffing is a Strategic Talent Partner with Purple Cow Recruiting. Requirements
- Minimum 1 year Echo Tech experience REQUIRED (3 years preferred)
- Pediatric echo experience REQUIRED (HARD STOP)
- Structural heart experience REQUIRED (HARD STOP)
- BLS and RCS REQUIRED
- RDMS-Peds preferred
- Experience with TTE, TEE, stress echo, and advanced echo procedures
- Experience with GE equipment and PACS systems preferred
- Must live 100+ miles from facility (HARD STOP)
