Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience required
• Psychiatric experience required
• Active BLS/CPR certification required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with EMR systems required
• Ability to work independently in acute care setting

Nice To Haves

• 2+ years of relevant experience preferred
• Pediatric psychiatric experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect care in a psychiatric inpatient setting
• Assist with patient admissions, vital signs, and basic assessments
• Support patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and hygiene needs
• Monitor and document intake, output, and patient behavior
• Assist with physical exams and specimen collection
• Maintain patient safety through routine observation and safety checks
• Support crisis intervention under clinical supervision
• Develop therapeutic relationships with patients
• Document care accurately in EMR systems
• Communicate effectively with clinical teams and families
• Support overall unit operations and patient care coordination
