About The Position

A outpatient imaging center is seeking an experienced Travel Mammography Technician to provide high-quality breast imaging services. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise and experience across a variety of outpatient breast imaging procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in mammography or related breast imaging
• ARRT certification required
• BLS certification required
• Strong knowledge of outpatient imaging workflows
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical environment

Responsibilities

• Perform outpatient mammography procedures in accordance with established protocols
• Conduct breast ultrasound , bone density (DEXA) studies, and mammograms
• Assist with breast biopsy procedures as required
• Ensure patient comfort, safety, and accurate positioning during imaging
• Maintain strict adherence to radiation safety and quality assurance standards
• Accurately document procedures within the electronic medical record system
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to support efficient patient care
