About The Position

A leading outpatient imaging center in the Atlanta area is seeking an experienced Travel Mammography Technologist for a 13-week assignment. The technologist will be responsible for performing high-quality mammographic imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and compliance with established protocols.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 Years of Recent Mammography Experience
• ARRT (Mammography) Certification – Required
• AHA BLS Certification – Required
• Strong knowledge of mammography procedures and imaging equipment
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced imaging environment

Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures
• Ensure proper patient positioning and image quality
• Maintain patient safety and radiation protection standards
• Operate and maintain mammography imaging equipment
• Accurately document procedures and patient information
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members
• Maintain compliance with departmental and regulatory guidelines
