About The Position

Step into a pivotal, life-changing role as a Licensed Practical Nurse specializing in Long-Term Care. This multi-week travel assignment invites you to deliver compassionate, expert care that honors dignity and independence for residents while you explore new communities. Based in Santa Fe, New Mexico, your start date will be 02/19/2026, with a guaranteed 36.0 hours each week and a competitive pay range of $1,004–$1,018 per week. You’ll bring your hands-on clinical excellence to supportive teams in long-term care facilities, coordinating care plans, monitoring conditions, and guiding residents and families through daily routines with empathy and professionalism. As a traveling LPN, you’ll also have the opportunity to extend your impact by serving in diverse locations across the United States, broadening your experience and expanding your professional network while continuing to make a meaningful difference. Santa Fe and the broader New Mexico landscape offer a compelling backdrop for healing and renewal. The city blends rich cultural heritage, stunning high-desert vistas, and a climate that supports outdoor activity and reflection after demanding shifts. Explore the historic plazas, adobe architecture, and thriving arts scene, then step outside to nearby trails, canyons, and serene landscapes that recharge your energy for patient care. The roaming nature of this assignment means you can experience a variety of communities—each with its own character and opportunities for learning—while staying anchored by the northern New Mexico charm and warmth of Santa Fe. Traveling across facilities nationwide exposes you to different patient populations, care models, and interdisciplinary teams, sharpening your clinical judgment and expanding leadership skills in long‑term care settings. In this role, you’ll perform direct patient care under RN and physician supervision, administer medications and treatments, monitor vital signs, assess residents, and participate in comprehensive care planning. You’ll support activities of daily living, assist with wound care and rehabilitation exercises, and collaborate with therapists, social workers, and CNAs to ensure coordinated, person-centered care. You’ll educate residents and families, document changes in condition, and contribute to infection control and safety protocols. The opportunity for professional growth within long-term care is meaningful—pursuing certifications, gaining leadership exposure, and advancing you toward broader clinical responsibilities. Benefits include competitive pay, a potential sign-on or completion bonus, and housing assistance to ease transition. Contract extensions offer continuity and the chance to deepen relationships with facilities, while the constant support from our dedicated team—24/7 while you travel—ensures you’re never navigating challenges alone. A full suite of travel coordination and placement support helps you focus on care. Our partner company is committed to empowering its nursing staff with clear opportunities for career advancement, ongoing education, mentorship, and a culture built on collaboration and respect.
