About The Position

Embark on a meaningful journey as a Licensed Practical Nurse specializing in Long-Term Care in Livingston, Montana. This is more than a contract—it’s a chance to help residents maintain dignity, comfort, and independence in familiar surroundings. As you provide compassionate, evidence-based care, you’ll monitor health status, administer medications, support activities of daily living, manage routine treatments, and partner with families and an interdisciplinary team to optimize outcomes. The assignment starts January 19, 2026, for a duration of several weeks, guaranteeing 36 hours per week with a competitive weekly pay of $1,450 to $1,508. Beyond compensation, you’ll join a program that values your expertise and your contribution to a community that prizes quality, empathy, and continuity of care. Livingston offers a welcoming small-town atmosphere set against Montana’s rugged beauty. After shifts you can hike in nearby valleys, explore local eateries, or unwind along the river with colleagues who share your dedication. For those who crave variety, there is the possibility to work across multiple facilities in Montana and other states, gaining exposure to different patient populations and care models while maintaining the stability of a guided travel program. This flexibility allows you to experience the best of rural warmth and regional diversity, all while developing a robust professional portfolio in long-term care. In this role, you’ll perform essential LPN duties within long-term care settings: conducting comprehensive patient assessments and vitals monitoring, administering prescribed medications and injections, evaluating responses and potential adverse effects, and updating care plans in collaboration with RNs and physicians. You’ll assist with activities of daily living, support mobility and rehabilitation efforts, manage wound care and dressing changes, prevent falls, and help with nutrition and hydration management. Your documentation in electronic health records will be precise and timely, ensuring continuity of care across shifts and interdisciplinary teams. You’ll also contribute to care conferences, mentor nursing assistants, and pursue opportunities to deepen your clinical skills in geriatrics, palliative care, and chronic disease management. The setting emphasizes person-centered care, dignity, and proactive communication with residents and families, so your ability to listen, educate, and advocate will shine. We offer compelling benefits designed to support you beyond the day-to-day responsibilities: a generous sign-on bonus, housing assistance to relieve the logistics of travel, and extension opportunities that let you tailor the duration of your assignment based on your goals and facility needs. The compensation reflects your expertise, with a weekly pay range that recognizes the value you bring to LTC teams. Guaranteed hours of 36 per week provide financial predictability, while the travel program’s structure offers potential for additional shifts and renewed contracts. Comprehensive support is available 24/7 through dedicated travel coordinators, clinical supervisors, and a nationwide network ready to assist with licensing, credentialing, scheduling, and any on-the-road needs. You’ll have access to orientation, ongoing education, and resources that help you grow within the specialty while maintaining work-life balance in a traveling role. Our company is grounded in empowering staff to advance their careers. We cultivate a supportive work environment that respects your expertise, encourages mentorship, and promotes from within whenever possible. You’ll find a culture that values collaboration, integrity, and patient-centered care, with a commitment to your professional development and well-being as you serve residents in LTC settings. Location flexibility, opportunities for skill expansion, and a team that prioritizes your success are core to our approach, and Livingston is an excellent springboard into broader LTC experiences across the country if you choose to pursue them.
