About The Position
We are currently seeking a Full-time Travel Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Centurion Eagles Travel Team in Maryland. Our Travel Program Licensed Practical Nurses are part of an exciting travel team who works between various Department of Corrections facilities, while enjoying the benefits of having convenient “block” scheduling, outstanding benefits, exceptional compensation, and lodging/meal stipends. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) (Medical) (Travel) works between various facilities/locations throughout the state according to contract needs, providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients. The LPN works under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff to respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.
Requirements
- Maryland LPN license or ability to obtain license
- Compact Licensure preferred
- At least two (2) years of LPN experience
- Must have open availability to travel throughout the state of Maryland as needed per contract needs
- Current CPR
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
Nice To Haves
- Corrections experience not required, but preferred
- Previous travel nurse experience preferred
