About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist to support a Special Procedures department at a comprehensive stroke–designated facility. This role requires strong clinical expertise across general IR, neuro, and vascular procedures, along with the ability to respond quickly to emergency cases.

Requirements

• Degree or certification as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
• Mandatory experience in a comprehensive stroke environment
• Strong experience in general IR, neuro, and vascular procedures
• Ability to take call and respond within required timeframes
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and critical-thinking skills

Responsibilities

• Perform interventional radiology procedures in a high-acuity Special Procedures environment
• Support general IR, neuro-interventional, and vascular procedures
• Assist with emergency stroke-related cases in a comprehensive stroke setting
• Participate in on-call coverage with required rapid response to emergent situations
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and clinical staff to ensure safe and efficient procedural workflows
• Ensure adherence to imaging protocols, radiation safety standards, and departmental policies
