About The Position

The Interventional Radiology Technologist supports diagnostic and therapeutic interventional procedures in an acute care hospital setting. This role requires technical expertise across IR, angiography, and special procedures, along with strong collaboration skills in a fast-paced procedural environment.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of Interventional Radiology experience
• Experience in inpatient and procedural settings, including: Interventional Radiology Operating Room Emergency Department
• ARRT (R)
• BLS (AHA)
• X-Ray Procedures: Extremities (upper & lower) Abdomen / GI Spine / Pelvis Head Chest / Thorax
• IR / Angio / Special Procedures: Angiograms and angioplasty Stents and peripheral vascular procedures Venous access Drainages Nephrograms Abdominal and pelvic studies Genitourinary studies Neurological studies

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during interventional radiology and angiographic procedures
• Prepare patients, equipment, and sterile fields for procedures
• Perform imaging and fluoroscopic support during IR cases
• Monitor patient condition and ensure safety throughout procedures
• Maintain accurate documentation using electronic medical records
• Adhere to radiation safety and infection control standards
